Akron Care Center, Inc. is an Intermediate and Skilled Care facility which accepts Medicare, Medicaid and approved insurance payments. Also offered is our reasonably priced Independent Living unit for citizens over 50 who need and/or want to live with their peers in a safe atmosphere. In addition we have available to the public a Bed and Breakfast which offers a unique hotel-like alternative. Last but not least, we have an exceptional Outpatient Physical and Occupational Therapy department for people in the community. We're delighted that citizens no longer have to drive out of town to receive professional treatment.

We know transitions can be stressful, so we ease the process by providing an environment where residents and guests feel informed and comfortable. Our staff understands the importance of creating a comfortable and nurturing atmosphere for senior living, whether residents stay for short-term treatment or long-term care.
